Just came across this list of Spanish Civil War memorials in Scotland. Afraid I haven't time at the moment to check we have them all listed so I hope some other kind soul will. (from website of International Brigade Memorial Trust).

By the way, does anyone know of any memorials in Spain to Scots who fought in the International Brigade, or perhaps of the Scottish Ambulance Unit?

Aberdeen. Plaque in Aberdeen Trades Council HQ, John Londragan House Aberdeen. Erected in 1993

Aberdeen. Plaque in Trades Council Club, for Aberdeen volunteers. Erected by Aberdeen TC

Aberdeen. Plaque in Concert Hall, Aberdeen to volunteers from Aberdeen. Erected by Aberdeen Council

Aberdeen. Books in the 15th Brigade Memorial Library, Aberdeen Unempl. Centre, 54 Frederick Street Aberdeen. Provided by volunteers and the Aberdeen TC, 1989

Dundee. Plaque in Peace Gardens o/s MacManus Galleries, Albert Square, Dundee. Erected by Dundee City Council, 23 February 1975

Edinburgh. Plaque in East Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh to volunteers. Erected by Edinburgh City Labour Party

Glasgow. Statue in Clyde River Bank, Custom House Quay, Glasgow. Erected by City of Glasgow, 23 February 1980

Glasgow. Plaque in Baillieston Public Library, Glasgow to William Keegan. Erected by STUC, NUM, Glasgow & Strathclyde Councils, 1 December 1989

Irvine. Plaque in Cunninghame House Branch Library, Irvine, Scotland to John Smith, killedon the Ebro in 1938. Erected by Cunninghame District Council, 1 September 1988

Kirkcaldy. Plaque above memorial, Forth Avenue, Kirkcaldy, Scotland to volunteers. Erected by Kirkcaldy District Council and Friends of the IBA, May 1980 and Sepetmber 1986

Prestonpans. Seat in local park, Prestonpans, Lothian. Erected by Prestonpans Labour Party, 1 November 1986

Prestonpans. Plaque in Civic Square, Prestonpans to Svcottish volunteers. erected by Berwick/ E Lothian Labour Party, 1 April 1978

We have a few of these - we definitely have the two Glasgow ones.

We have the one in Edinburgh and the one in Kirkcaldy with the new additions.

We have the Prestonpans plaque but not the seat.

There's a very simple memorial in the ground floor space of the STUC building on Woodlands Rd in Glasgow - the former Woodside Senior Secondary School.

Poor lighting earlier prevented photography but I'll try again ASAP.

Not on the list above but on the forum is this Spanish Civil War memorial.

I believe there might be a memorial to volunteers from Rutherglen and Cambuslang in Rutherglen Town Hall.

I'm on holiday this week so might try and get along to it.

BLANTYRE: Memorial to three local volunteers killed in Spain at Blantyre Miners’ Welfare Club. Erected by East Kilbride & South Lanarkshire Trades Union Council, 24 October 2009.

EDINBURGH: Inscription on rock in East Princes Street Gardens (near the art galleries at The Mound) in memory of volunteers from the Lothians and Fife. Erected by Friends of the International Brigade Association.

GLASGOW: Plaque listing Glasgow volunteers killed in Spain in Scottish Trades Union Congress offices, 333 Woodlands Road.

PERTH: Memorial for local volunteers at North Inch. Erected by Perthshire International Brigade Memorial Fund, 5 June 2010.

RENTON. Statue of a Spanish bull on Main Street in memory of Dunbartonshire International Brigade volunteers. Unveiled 27 August 2011. (video of unveiling)

RUTHERGLEN: Memorial in town hall. Unveiled 6 February 2008.

WHITHORN: Plaque to Jack Brent (George Dickie). Erected 25 February 2006.
