An article for the unveiling of Luncarty Bleach Works War Memorial in Perthshire is in the Glasgow Herald of September 18th 1922.

It was unveiled on Sunday afternoon the 17th of September 1922 by the Duke of Atholl.

Derek.

Its on the forum although in the civic section (should've been moved to others). There is another thread 'Luncarty Relocation'.

I can't seem to post links because it comes up www.scottishwarmemorials.com in the address bar all the time now.

So the Luncarty memorial isn't a parish or town one, it's actually the bleach works memorial?

Derek.

I was say it may have been raised as a works memorial but was it considered the community's memorial after the Second World War and is it used as the community's main focus for remembrance today?

If so I would say it stays where it is.

Thanks

Adam
