Cheers Derek - I'm so low tech, I always assume I've done/not done something.

Last week the SNWM database was down for a day, they must have rejigged the files somehow. Using Geoffs search engine now most of the results, when clicked, bring up a different entry :/

A right pain in the bum as I found the search engine far more useful than the one on the SNWM site itself.

It looks like new entries added have upset the original URL sequence, so a lot of the links from my search engine will be wrong. There is no quick fix, I'm afraid.

Aw No! How come?

Even though a few search result clicks brought up a different man, the indexes of searches were still quite handy.

Can only echo Derek's comments - but if it has gone, many thanks Geoff for all your efforts thus far.

For every incorrect record it pulls out, it fails to present a correct record. So misses a lot. Not up to my usual standard, and if I attempt to repair it, it may happen again on the next SNWN update. So not worth the effort involved. At least CWGC kept their URLs!

Hope you found it useful, while it lasted.

Geoff, I found it very useful and cannot thank you enough for what you were able to do, whilst it lasted.

It looks like all the links are now broken. The only useful data is the Will reference numbers - if that's any use to anyone, the search engine is back on line.
Good thing I did not spend time fixing it when it was only half broke as it would have been a waste of time. Crying or Very sad

It must have been more work involved to remove the will references than to totally change the links. Wonder why?

cheers,

geoff

Geoff

Even though the links are broken, the search facility is better and can help narrow down a search. You can't search by roll on the SNWM website for example.

It's great to see it still available Geoff, many thanks for keeping it online.

Thanks

Adam
