Memorial Type: Statue

First time I have viewed this memorial - what a stunning location!
On a sad note, W J McIvor, a WW2 casualty, was just three years old.

Glasgow Herald, Monday, March 16th., 1916 - page 9:
"Caithness-shire. Information has been received that Lance-Corporal George Munro, of the 2nd. Canadians, has been killed in action. He was a son of John Munro, Latheronwheel, and a brother of Mr. John Munro, tailor and clothier, Wick. Previous to enlistment Mr. Munro followed his trade as a tailor in Canada."
