Robert Henderson Cpl 58988 62nd Royal Garrison Artillery Siege Bty born Rathven, Banffshire Age 27 Died Home 24-Jul-18 Son of John and Margaret Henderson, of Hillhead, Drybridge, Buckie, Banffshire. His brother, Pte. J. Henderson, 16298. Scots Guards, also died on service. Recent research has shown that Corporal Henderson is buried here. Cullen Cemetery Lair 9. Section 1 Buckie & Glasgow Police

Checking the 1939 - 1945 Roll of Honour; of the five members of the Special Constabulary who died 'in service' two were on 13th March, 1941 and the remaining three the following day!
