Buchlyvie - Stirling District
The Buchlyvie memorial is a rustic grey granit stone standing on low steps and surmounted by a cross. The face of the stone bears the roll of honour and has a wreath with crossed sword and rifle carved in low relief.

According to the War Return he died as a result of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
