I'll keep an eye out for stuff.

I assume you'll be googling the usual war related forums for posts by members who have mentioned relatives from the town?

Derek.

For the benefit of anyone else who may pick up on this thread, I would start with the Great War Forum and then WW2 chat at http://ww2chat.com/forum.php. If you want to go on to post WW2 casualties then include http://www.veterans-uk.info/afm/index.htm.

Check out CWGC and SNWM (preferably by using Geoff's search engines).

Check UKNIWM for location as well as anything on this forum of course.

SDGW of course (available on Ancestry).

Check all local churches, town/village halls and schools for memorials that may not be on the forum.

Local newspapers, not only for info on individuals but also for any hints about any memorials/rolls of honour. Don't forget local libraries and museums.

Finally I would go through all the links in our links section to see what may help.

\Paul
