Skipper James Wilson Royal Naval Reserve (T) Lunan Bay born Banff 29/12/1850 Age 63 Died At Sea 26-Dec-14 Son of James Wilson & Margaret Michie. Husband of Mrs Anderson. 1901 Census: 58, Wellington St; Wife: Frances. City Roll of Honour: 3 Devanha Terr; Glasgow Herald 31-12-14 Intimation has been received in Aberdeen that James Wilson, 3 Devanha Terrace, has died on a hospital ship in the North Sea. Mr Wilson was employed in Government service on board the local trawler Lunan Bay, of which he was master. Mr Wilson is survived by his wife and a family of nine, a particularly sad family circumstance being that a son of only 19 years of age met his life on the previous Saturday while serving on board a mine sweeper which was blown up off Scarborough.

This man is not a non comm. It appears he died due to illness and therefor cannot qualify as a war death.
