I was given details of this site through my work on the Western Front Association Scotland (North) Branch Website, I started to photograph memorials as I travelled through Scotland with my work. These can be viewed on the website under the Research tab at:

www.wfascotlandnorth.org.uk

I'm happy for the images to be used here.

I also run The Regimental Warpath 1914 - 1918 website, this site lists the compostion and disposition of the British, Empire and Dominion armies of the First World War, there is a link to the site on my profile if you wish to have a look.

I look forward to contact from like minded people.

Regards to you all.

Brad

Hello Brad,
Welcome to the Forum and please accept my personal congratulations on your Regimental Warpath website. I am pleased that you are one source (including Official Histories) that has the organizational lineage correct for the Artillery Brigade I am researching (4th Highland Mountain Brigade). One goal of writing this history has been to correct errors that exist in published histories and inject them into histories where their activities are missing. You already have it right! Thanks.
Mike Morrison

Thank you all for your welcome messages.

Malcolm are you still waiting for some information from me? I've had a couple of computer crashes over the last 12 months and lost a lot of requests for help.

Mike glad to see I have something right, during my time in the RAF I discovered that serving members of the armed forces had access to the MOD library which as at least one copy of just about every book published on the military plus all the government reports and offical documents, this was a real aid to my research. If you would like to add any of your own research to the site you can contact me through Warpath.
