Mulben - Moray District
UKNIWM Ref nos: 8665 & 44588

The Boharm Parish war memorial is constructed of rustic freestone blocks and takes the form of an obelisk set on a square pedestal which rests on two low steps. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed in painted lettering on black polished granite tablets recessed into the faces of the pedestal.
The memorial stands beside the Hall.
Unfortunately I think I've lost my photographs of two of the tablets so I havn't included any transcription of the names yet.
A photograph of this memorial appeared in The Northern Scot, 25th December 1921. According to the caption the memorial was unveiled on 1st May 1921 by Mr. Thomas Gordon Duff of Drummuir.

Below are updated images of Boharm War Memorial showing the missing face. The memorial, which was moved to the hall car park from the nearby cross roads some years ago, is inscribed on three faces only.

The names of the seven WW2 casualties have been added below the lines on the side panels.

I have amended the title of this topic since this memorial covers all the parish of Borham and not just Mulben. From the UKNIWM.
