This man is listed as being born at Udny, Aberdeenshire giving his residence as Monkwood-by-Maypole, Ayrshire he died 6-11-1918 and is buried in Villers Bretonneux Cemetery XIII Row AA Grave 2.
He enlisted at Grove Park.
RASC M2/114918
Can anyone find him on a memorial?
Thanks
Anne

Anne
What is the William Craig / George Scott story do you know. Was the alias used before the war?
If it is Ayrshire then would it be Monkwood-by-Maybole.

Sorry Adam but there is little to go on...I have been to the grave in France and taken photos.
His stone was shot at in WWII.
