Jim

You didn't mention that this memorial is at the top of a steep hill!

It overlooks the railwayline and A835 Ullapool Road

OS REf: NH 394 615

I passed along the A835 last year and unfortunately didn't have a camera with me. I was planning to go back and get Contin, Garve and Ullapool later this year. I should have known you would have already been there since you seem to have single-handedly covered most of Scotland!

Thanks for the info on the location Adam. Quite honestly I couldn't remember where the monument stood and couldn't find my notes Rolling Eyes

This Garve War Memorial is as you said on a steep hillock at the side of the main road and the main railway line . Awkward to photograph ..
