(Glasgow Herald 12th May 1915)
"Killed in action in France on 3rd last, Private Harold Thomas Leask, C company, 1st Battalion Royal Scots, aged 23 years, of Coldommo, Stenness, Orkney, veterinary student, youngest son of the late captain William S. Leask, ship "City of Florence" of Glasgow."

As you point out Anne, he is recorded as Leash by CWGC and in the war return, but as Leask on SNWM.
