This has just become one of my favourite memorials. I think the way way the brass plates have been formed and inlaid into the wood plus the detail thereon is superb. Its also right at the head of the church and very prominent to all the congregation.

This is strange. Before photographing Monzie I had read the list of names from the Perthshire 'Golden Book' and It included AULDJO, JOHN W., SGT. 87TH GRENADIER GUARDS OF CANADA.

I had mentioned him previously;
