The Park Church, Giffnock was established in 1940, the newer main building was completed in 1965. With the closure of The Park Church, Park Circus, Glasgow, much of the furniture and fittings were moved to the Giffnock Church i.e. Stained glass windows, marble war memorial, wood panels, lectern, communion table and two memorial chairs.



The large white marble memorial is inscribed as follows:

With a large number of officers listed including the four Anderson brothers the Park Church must have been a church for the great and good of Glasgow. This man is listed on it as well as on a plaque believed to have belonged to the Woodside Church

You can see the tower which remains of Park Church in the West End of Glasgow. It is situated in quite a grand part of the city.
