Woo Hoo! 1 day away!
I'm looking forward to the release of the 1911 census tomorrow on ScotlandsPeople. Should make family and military research more interesting.

I had the same problem, went online this morning after getting in last night and nothing!
I can only imagine they wanted some sort of unveiling ceremony or something press launch at their office in Edinburgh when they were all at work?
Although this wasn't stated in any of their announcements?
Anywho it's up now.

Is it me, or are these colour images pixelating...or sumfink?
I am struggling to read some entries. Do I need to update java?
I can read this, but it's not easy.

If you go into your "my details" setting on scotlandspeople you can change the compresion rate, you need it at lowest or none to get the best image, well i do anyway.

Thanks Derek. I didn't even think of trying to alter settings, I didn't even know you could. i will give it a go. I suppose for the money we're paying, it should be a top notch site, and to be fair, it is very good. Tad expensive though, moan, mutter, groan, whine etc etc.

I always use the Direct Download rather than one of the online viewers on the ScotlandsPeople website. I reckon on getting the best results that way, and easier to save a copy or print.
