For the petrolheids on the forum, (of which I am one) this may be of interest:

http://www.rblscotland.org/legion%20riders.html

I have just joined as I hadn't realised that The Riders Branch, The Royal British Legion Scotland is not a part of or affiliated to the Royal British Legion Riders Branch who have members based in Scotland of which I have also been a member!

The Riders Branch, Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS Riders) is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the United Kingdom. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who have risked their very lives and those who continue to do so, for our freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
Our Objectives are:

. To support the Royal British Legion Scotland as the leading ex-service Charity in Scotland, promoting remembrance and comradeship and, in partnership with other Scottish Charities, to be responsible for providing welfare, benevolence and War-Pensions: War Pension Appeals Support.”
. To attend and assist in ceremonies such as wreath-laying on Remembrance Sunday or organising events to mark Veterans' Day and military anniversaries therefore reminding the public as to the debt of honour we owe the Fallen.
. To raise funds for our veteran’s and their dependents through charitable work and donations to assist in periods of hardship.
. To show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
. To attend the funeral services of fallen British Servicemen heroes as invited guests of the family.

Thanks Derek
I am also an RBLS member.

At long last, a RBLS new site, and links which actually work.
