I've removed the ones we've got and I've also removed Duntocher and Hardgate since we have that too in Dunbartonshire.
Thanks

So it's the grey addition on the side of the church? The memorial/grave in the foreground is dedicated to a former minister.

Derek,
Apologies, I didn't realise that the roadside memorial was to a minister. I had another look at the picture Adam posted from google streetview and I cant make out if the one attached the church is a memorial or information board of some sort...... |

The following is taken from A Guide to Stonehaven relating to the war memorial there;
Months passed. Other memorials were planned and built at Muchalls, St Cyrus, Portlethan, Catterline, Cookney, Durris, Arbuthnott, Fordoun, Banchory, at the local school Mackie Academy and at the various local churches, but not a word was heard or read about Stonehavens Town memorial.
It suggests there is a memorial somewhere at Catterline. |

I have just noticed that you show the address of the War Memorial at Standburn, Stirlingshire as Irene Terrace. This is wrong. Irene Terrace is at the far end of the village - i.e. the East End. The correct address is Main Street, Standburn.
I was shocked to find on my visit to the village last Summer that the gate and padlock and chain had gone. Also two heavy metal cups with chains , ,which were attached to the 'water bowl' on the front of the memorial.
Do you know if these memorials are ever checked by anyone in authority??
TGL.
