This memorial is located inside Blantyre Livingstone Memorial Church

OF THE BLANTYRE COY. 2ND V.B. SCOTTISH RIFLES
WHO HAVING VOLUNTEERED
FOR ACTIVE SERVICE IN THE BOER WAR
DIED AT MOOI RIVER NATAL 26TH MARCH 1901
AGED 22 YEARS

THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY HIS
BROTHER VOLUNTEERS
