We don't have the statue of Adam Duncan, 1st Viscount Duncan of Camperdown from Dundee on the forum.

It was erected in 1997 on the corner of Reform Street and High Street.

He didn't die in battle but his most famous victory at Camperdown was only a few years before his death so I think we could justify having his statue on the forum especially since the statue was erected on the 200th anniversary of the battle.

If there is anyone planning to go to central Dundee in the future perhaps they could make a detour to Duncan's statue and get a photograph or two of it.

Thanks

Adam

John

Many thanks to you and Mrs Goldsmith for such a speedy response to the request.

A fine monument to a little known Scottish admiral.

Kind regards

Adam
