Here are some more images. No close ups of the statue I'm afraid
I have mediocre photos of the name panels. They aren't clear enough to post here but I can send them by e-mail if anyone wants them.

I've tinkered about with the photos and although not brilliant you can see some of the names. I couldn't get good images of the WW2 panels though. I can confirm names for anyone.
Note there are three Victoria Cross winners on the Great War panels
Lt Col W.H. Anderson VC, HLI
Capt C W H Chree VC, Royal Scots
Lt D MacKintosh VC, Seaforths
Lt Col Anderson has been discussed on the Cardross thread here

Note there are two Salvesens listed but they are not the Salvesens commemorated in St Giles (see here). One is commemorated on the Gretna Rail Crash memorial in rosebank Cemetery in Edinburgh

Nearly three years since I last took photographs here. How time flies!
The car's temperature gauge said it was 0.0 degrees centigrade today so I didn't hang about taking too many photos. At least the Second World War ones turned out OK this time

New ones of the First World War plaques. I may try and crop the middle two and post them again

More images of the memorial itself
There was a low Winter sun rising in front of the memorial today so the rear of the statue was in bad light for my poor wee camera
And the stag and lion again
