Whilst some of our forum members are interested in genealogy and may be able to help with some genealogical queries, this forum is about Scottish war memorials and the people listed on them.

If you are hitting a brick wall about an ancestor who may have served in a Scottish regiment you are probably better posting a message on other forums such as

That's not to say we're not willing to help! We're happy to help as much as we can, but you might get a better "hit" from the sources Adam has already listed...

Hi Talkingscot is proving impossible. Many years ago I was a member. I have forgotten my password. when I use the "forgot password" link it tells me there is noone with my email. When I try to register it says the email is in use 0 use "forgot password"
