Hi Adam,

See below the close-up cropped from the photo above.

Assuming the five statues are standing above their respective regimental badges, they are Grenadier Guards, Scots Guards, Welsh Guards, Irish Guards and Coldstream Guards.

The Roll of Honour website lists them (although not in the same sequence) and gives information about the individuals who modelled for these statues.

From The Scotsman, Monday 18th October 1926.

    GUARDS' MEMORIAL

    UNVEILED IN LONDON

    IMPRESSIVE CEREMONIES

Since the unveiling of the Cenotaph in Whitehall there has been no more significant or impressive ceremony in connection with the Great War than the unveiling of the memorial to the Guards Division on the Horse Guards Parade, London, which performed by the Duke of Connaught, the senior Colonel of the Brigade of Guards, on Saturday morning. Happily the weather had improved, and though no vagaries of climate or weather could have affected the significance of this moving ceremony, the spectacular effect of an outdoor function would have been greatly marred by a repetition of Friday's dreary skies and drenching rain.

The memorial takes the form of a Cenotaph of Portland stone, erected on a granite base, and ornamented with figures in bronze and gun metal obtained from guns which the Guards Division captured from the Germans at various times. It is recessed in to St James's Park, and is in a direct line with the central roadway across the Horse Guards Parade, and faces towards the Horse Guards.

    (the article continues at length)
