I've noticed a number of threads where people have posted "I have heard there is a memorial in such and such a place..." Often this will be the only information in this thread.
Can we try and keep these to a minimum please? We should only be adding a thread or topic if we have some concrete information.
Anything else can be added to the "Queries and requests" section.
Thanks,
David |

I have been adding newspaper reports about memorials to the regional memorial list, so people can see the details and if possible take some pictures if the chance arises.
After the post about Weir from Coatbridge, should i be making these into their own threads with the ** required photos** in the title instead?

I've noticed some threads of this nature popping up again.
for the avoidance of doubt, and as a friendly reminder, can I ask that until we have a confirmed image of a memorial that we keep threads like this to a minimum please?
We have a section for memorial discussion - http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewforum.php?f=178
Any discussion of memorials we have not recorded here should go in the discussion thread for each area.
The memorial sections of the forum should only be for memorials we ourselves have recorded and documented. I don't doubt the memorials being discussed exist, but if we have not recorded it ourselves then it should remain in the discussion area for the moment.
Thanks. |
