The Dr Laura Stewart Sandeman referred to in posts above served in WW1 in Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps as Controller of Medical Services in France attached to the R.A.M.C.
Her father, Frank Stewart Sandeman, had been Colonel Commandant of the 1st Forfar Volunteer Artillery at his death in 1898.
