This stained glass window is located within Kenmore Parish Church;

On the right hand side there is a memorial to Ian Robert Reekie Macnaughton;

I came up with this on CWGC but his papers are not available online.
Name: MACNAUGHTON
Initials: I R R
Nationality: Canadian
Rank: Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment)
Unit Text: 24th Bn.
Date of Death: 26/04/1916
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: J. 12.
Cemetery: DICKEBUSCH NEW MILITARY CEMETERY

Now on the other side is a memorial to this mans father - John MacNaughton;

Apologies for the quality. I could not come up with anything for the father so, as yet I haven't posted his individually. I've tried SNWM/CWGC/ and a limited Boer War Search.
I'm assuming his father is a war casualty as his window features a knight and pelican thereon.
Any thoughts or info. would be appreciated on this one.

Haven't made a connection to Kenmore (yet) but there is quite a bit of info and photos of Ian R R MacNaughton on the Canadian Virtual War Memorial
http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/memorials/canadian-virtual-war-memorial/detail/441661

and there's a little bit about his father at
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1946&dat=19040715&id=M4UuAAAAIBAJ&sjid=un4FAAAAIBAJ&pg=3120,931616

and here http://speeches.empireclub.org/60431/data?n=1
which includes:
Professor John MacNaughton, M.A., LL.D., was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and took his Arts Course in Aberdeen and Cambridge Universities and his Theological Course in Edinburgh, with further study at Heidelberg and Berlin. He held the Chairs of Greek and Church History at Queen's University and later was professor of Classics at McGill University. He is now professor of Latin in the University of Toronto.
