Thanks are all due to Mrs Aase Goldsmith and her husband Peter. I just posted the photos. We were intrigued there was no WW2 memorial for Scoon & Perth Lodge No 3. Also appears Lodge 74 in Perth has war memorial but it was not open on Doors day.
Don't think a visit was made to Glover's Hall.

PERTH NAVYMAN LOST ON THE FORMIDABLE

James Beresford, a young man, well-known in Perth, was on board the ill-fated Formidable when she went down. Intimation of his death has reached the city through a communication received by members of Lodge Royal Arch (No. 122) from his father, Sergeant Beresford, Glasgow, who was in the Black Watch, and posted for many years at the Queen's Barracks, Perth, where he was employed as a regimental tailor. The deceased, who was a pupil of the Balhousie School, and joined the Navy many years ago, was 27 years of age, was an enthusiastic swimmer, and carried off a large number of trophies, and was also a promising young footballer.
