Stormontfield is situated on a loop road off the A93 just past Old Scone heading for Blairgowrie.

Unveiled 13th June 1920 by Mrs Ernest Robinson, Stormontfield House.
It was sculpted by a Mr George Christie.

Here is a link to a very nice piece of research work to the fallen;

Hugh

I was in the area earlier this year and visited this memorial. I think I checked other local memorials and felt that this was a church rather than a civic memorial and if I remember correctly at the time I was happy for it to remain in this section.

We'll be happy to move it if proved wrong.

Thanks

Adam

I had another look at this when I was trying put my lost files back in some order. The memorial does say men from the district so it would appear civic. The small article in the paper also mentions the men from Stormontfield. I have moved it, hope thats okay.

WMR 82926.
I also note that the church is now for sale on the C of S website, which would put the question of whether this needs to be moved/if future access will be available
