I have been asked to do a short slide show and family history corner at The Gordon Highlanders Museum on 25th & 26th September.
I will be there both days and hope to help anyone with info I would also like info regarding anyone who died in the attacks around that time and have a NE connections.

It seems odd that David Gray is not on the memorial at Dud Corner.

Generally men are commemorated by CWGC on a Memorial to the Missing near to where they died. It could be that a man in the 1st Battalion is attached to a sister battalion or another regiment. He might not be recorded with other 1GH men who died on a particular day. 4th GH were involved in the action at Bellewarde on 25th September 1915.
In either case, CWGC can only act on the details which the Army provided to them at the time. _________________ Jim
