I don't know if this query originated from a member of the Scottish Stained Glass Symposium or if the writer has been in touch with them. If not, I will be happy to put them in touch. They have various records and access to experts in the field.

The person who made the request vis the "Craigie" column of the Courier is based in England. I do not know if he is a member of the Symposium but have manged to google his contact details and I will send him Symposium details I got off the net. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
Mind you, we could do with a photo of the window for our records!
So if anyone lives nearby? |

Courier and Advertiser : Craigie column : Tuesday 24th August 2010 :
War Memorial Windows :
Murray McGregor , Session Clerk of CLEPINGTON & FAIRMUIR PARISH CHURCH in Dundee writes , " Regarding he stained glass designer , Douglas Hamilton, I am the Session Clerk of Clepington and Fairmuir Church and had just finished emailing The Rev Hopewell when I picked up The Courier and read your column.
" I was able to give Mr Hopewell some information regarding both of the War Memorials Windows in FAIRMUIR although there are no signatures . I have agreed to send photographs to help in identification ."
Hope this of some extra info
