Only one of them is on my database
Pte William T Pirie S/21555 7th Seaforth Highlanders born Forres 24/01/1897 enlisted Elgin Age 21 Killed in Action F & F 06-Jun-18 Son of William (Dec) & Jane Tulloch Pirie, 29 North Rd; Forres. Morayshire Roll of Honour: Page 345: Occ Bobbin Turner. Caestre Military Cemetery Fr 0027 Plot I Row D Grave 15 Forres Memorial.
The others buried with him are
Charles F Fox, from Edinburgh.
Andrew Scott Greig, from Leith.
James Haughey, from Doune.
James Niven, from Dundee.
Horace Shepherd from Dundee.
Can anyone give me info on these men?

There's a James Niven of the Seaforth Highlanders on the Dundee ww1 RoH.

There is another 7th Seaforth buried among them at Caestre who died that day, I assume the same action.

Private A.S. Greig is noted in the Leith Roll of Honour Vol.2 Page 28. This can be viewed by contactin Lothian Health Services Archive.

Sorry but I do not have an obituary for him from the local newspaper.
