Quick update - this table was being disposed of by the church. I arranged for it to be kept in storage by my family, and it has since been donated to the museum of the Royal Highland Fusiliers.

Found this recently. In the hall of the church there is a table and chairs, with a very small plaque on the top.

The photo isn't clear so here's a transcription:

"Dedicated to the Glory of God and ion loving memory of one hundred men connected with the congregation who fell in the Great War 1914-1918. Jubilee of Church 1923."

I haven't been able to determine which church this came from. I can say with a fair degree of certainty that it wasn't Maxwell Church, as I don't remember ever seeing it there.
