This memorial sits on Alloa Road between Causewayhead & Cambuskenneth. (I couldn't resist taking a wee pic with the Wallace Monument in it too!)

Yes.
I think possibly the memorial in Bridge of Allan (which is only a couple of miles along the road) has the men from WW1 but the main Stirling Memorial has men from all these wee villages also. |

Well, do I feel a bit of a numpty!!
I went back again this morning just to double check this Memorial and yes - there are two further panels bearing the names for WW1.
I must have been thinking about peeling the tatties or something equally as exciting.
Photos will be uploaded as soon as . . . . the tatties are peeled??

There seems to be something inscribed on the stone behind the memorial in the first and second pic. Is this related to the memorial? |

The inscription says:
"These stones shall be a memorial for ever"
Photo will be posted as soon as Photobucket's maintenance is finished.

Whether they were brothers, we'll no doubt find out soon enough.
Unfortunately though Ken, Denovan IS quite a common name in and around Stirling.
There are 2 Denovan men listed on local family gravestones - Alexander Denovan, R.E., and Charles Bowie Denovan, Canadians who's listed on stones both in St. Ninians's Old Churchyard & Bannockburn Cemetry.
Causewayhead & Cambuskenneth are just to the north of Stirling near to Bridge of Allan, so one of these days when I have a chance, I'll see just how many of these men can be 'cross-referenced' between the local memorials and the main Stirling one.
