A friend of mine Fraser Mitchell emailed me a photograph he took of the Great War Memorial in
ST REGULUS SCOTTISH EPISCOPAL CHURCH , Church Street, CROMARTY .
It was open to the public when he was in the town
The Tablet on the wall had :
Seaforth Highlanders badge - Motto in a scroll " Cuidich'n righ " followed by
" To the Glory of God and to the Memory of all Ranks of the SEAFORTH HIGHLANDERS who fell in the Great War 1914 -1918 "

I wonder if this was a former drill hall memorial? Cromarty would have had a until of 4th Seaforth Highlanders TF.
Because of the subject matter I've renamed this thread and will move it to the unit section.
Thanks

This Scottish Episcopal church in Cromarty was built as a church many years ago . I do not know if the war memorial inside was erected in the church initially or as you think in a Drill Hall used by the Local Regiment and battalion of the Seaforth Highlanders .
I will try and see what I can find out on this memorial .
