Sorn Parish Church, Main Street, Sorn, Ayrshire KA5 6HX

OS Grid Ref: NS 552266
A handsome building standing proudly in its kirkyard, originally built in 1658 and reconstructed in 1826. Improvements made in 1910 by H E Clifford. On the outside there are stairs to three galleries and Jougs on the west wall. On the East wall there is a memorial to George Wood, last covenanter to die 1688. http://www.sacredscotland.org.uk/church/sorn-parish-church
The War memorials are situated in the main body of the kirk.
The WW1 memorial is inscribed as follows:
“DULCE DECORUM EST PRO PATRIA MORI” (It is glorious and honourable to die for one’s country, from Horacre's Odes)

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF
THE MEN FROM THIS CHURCH & PARISH WHO GAVE

Although this memorial is in a church, it is fact the civic memorial. There is no other memorial in Sorn and the men are generally not listed on any other memorial.
Can someone move this to the civic section please? I should be able to do this but have never moved a post before.
