Unfortunately because of building work in Dundee it is not possible to get a current photograph of this memorial
In the mean time full details of the memorial and the men listed can be found here:

The McManus Galleries & Museum has now reopened after a major refurbishment and the memorial to Dundee's fallen of the Spanish Civil War is on the grassed area to the right of the stairway, near the statue of Robert Burns.
The lower plaque contains additions and corrections to the errors contained in the upper plaque.
The museum contains several interesting exhibits relating to the role of Dundee and its citizens in various conflicts, including the deployment of The Black Watch to Iraq and Afghanistan - well worth a visit

Just acquired a copy of the book 'Dundee and the Spanish Civil War' published by the Dundee Trades Union Council (a snip at £3 from the McManus Institute) and containing a wealth of information about those who left the city to fight Franco.
Snippet which caught my eye on browsing was that the Dave Samson named on the city's memorial was the nephew of WW1 VC winner George Samson of Carnoustie. |
