Richard,
Superb photos - this was one on my list. What a delight it is to see someone else posting a photo of a Perthshire War Memorial!
Many thanks.

Do you think the Bruar memorial should get it's own thread? Both these memorials are copies of memorials in Europe, I believe they are also by the same sculptor.
They have both been posted on the forum
51st HD memorial Breville France -same as Bruar
51st HD Memorial Schijndel Holland - same as Perth

Adam,
Yes I think the memorial should have its own thread and I will do this. It is located at House of Bruar by Blair Atholl.

The plaque from the panel at the back. Note how it shows the infantry badges of the Division placed over their recruiting areas
5th (Caithness & Sutherland) Bn Seaforths at the top, the Seaforths, Camerons, Gordons, Black Watch and Argylls.
It also repeats the 'Friends are good on the day of battle' inscription from the Beaumont Hamel memorial

And all the units in the Division. Both plaques seem to show men in shorts in some scenes and battledress in others to represent the service in North Africa, Sicily and North-West Europe.
From the plaque facing the Inch
Anti-Tank Platoons
Royal Army Medical Corps
Reconaissance Corps
Infantry - At El Alamein by the looks of it.
Royal Army Service Corps
Royal Army Chaplains Department
