Not immediately. I eventually found the original photo in the hope that I might blow it up and transcribe it but it pixelates. I'll grab another photo next time I'm passing.
(I can read enough to see that it is just a general dedication - 'To the Glory of God and in memory of those..etc...etc') |

PETER BLAKE PTE. K.O.S.B.
Peter Blake – age 23 – Private (17478) 2nd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers.
Peter was a joiner in Ayton, Berwickshire, where the family had lived for a number of years before moving to Denholm in Roxburghshire. He enlisted in 1914 and joined the 1st KOSB at Gallipoli in June 1915 but was invalided home to hospital in Glasgow. He was posted to the 2nd KOSB in France in July 1916 but was killed on the Somme within the month.

Born 1893 in West Calder, Midlothian. Son of Andrew Pettie Blake and of Barbara (Tillie) Blake of Denholm.
Missing in Action on 30 July 1916 and named on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme, France. _________________ Ken |
