Help please.
Pte. T. Johnson RASC is listed on the Castle Douglas War Memorial.
CWGC has Pte. T V Johnson (M/279549) 811st Mechanical Transport Co. RASC. Age 21. Died 12/12/1918 and buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery.
His MIC has him as Thomas V Johnson.
No entry on SNWM nor on the Stewartry Roll of Honour; and no sign of him on scotlandspeople births or census.
Can't find anything in local papers (so far)
FreeBMD has 5 x Thomas Victor Johnson born in 1896/7
Could someone try for his service record please? _________________ Ken |

sorry, no service record on ancestry and his MIC adds nothing. I agree no reference in Stewartry ROH. Not found in SDGW. I couldn't find him on SNWM either.

There is a birth on ScotlandsPeople for Thomas Valentine Johnson (mis-indexed as Johnston) in 1897 in Glasgow. I have no idea if this is the T V Johnson you are seeking.
