Urquhart - Moray District
UKNIWM Ref no: 8725

The Urquhart war memorial is a simple grey granite cross with a downturned sword carved in low relief on the face. The cross stands on a low octagonal pedestal and three low octagonal steps.
The monument stands in the Main Street.
The unveiling was carried out by Mr. Arthur Asquith, son of the ex-prime minister, on the 25th September 1921 (ref. The Northern Scot 25/12/1921)
