They're in their greatcoats so it must be Summer in Scotland!

There was a camp near Dundonald called Gailes Camp. Don't know if it was a pre-war camp but the 16th HLI were there in Dec. 1914.

I don't know if the photo is of Gailes but it's the only camp in Ayrshire I know.
