I would be embarassed to tell you how often I had driven past the road sign indicating this memorial and always said to my husband or whoever was travelling with me, 'really must stop next time and have a look at that'.

Finally, 4 years ago I stopped and climbed that hill and was able to see this fine memorial to a wonderful man.
