This wee stone sits on the 'Ladies Rock' between Holy Rude Kirkyard, Mar and Valley Cemeteries in Stirling.

It's quite small, measuring only about 60/70 cms in height.

The Ladies Rock was a favourite vantage point for the ladies of the court to watch the Royal Tournaments in the Valley and the Kings Park.

Stirling Castle can just be seen (through the early morning mist) in the background of the above photo.
