I have this but I believe you can only search on a name ? It would have been much better to key in other words so that, for instance, I could have typed in Perth(shire) to see all those that search would bring up.

Did not know you could do that! Brilliant. I downloaded the whole thing and browsed through to find my man.
If Ancestry had made it searchable, all the Perth men would probably be born in Aldershot!
