Allars Church Memorial - Hawick
Brass plaque 5ft x 3ft now housed in Hawick Wilton Lodge Museum after the former Allars Church, in the Cross Wynd was demolished.
The Great War plaque was unveiled in September 1921 by Mr Charles Spalding, senior elder, the service conducted by the Rev.James Wotherspoon, B.D.
OS map ref NT490193
UKNIWM Ref: 44302 + 44303
Lists 19 men from the Great War and 7 from the Second World War.

WW2 plaque listing 7 names

From what I can see Allars Church was a United Free Church during the First World War.
It looks like the church closed in 1949 which could explain why there was no memorial for the Second World War until after the church closed.
