Also St James' Episcopal Church War Memorial, and the Church'sRoll of Honour.

His parents were Clement Antrobus Harris and Mary Hargrave

His father dedicated his book THE STORY OF BRITISH MUSIC AND THE EARLIER FRENCH MUSICIANS to his son.

TO MY SON
ANTROBUS TAFT HARRIS

Bachelor of Music of the University
of Edinburgh; Second-Lieutenant,
4th Bedfordshire Regiment; Killed
in Action at Armentieres, March

Looking up the Edinburgh University Roll of Honour gives this entry.

HARRIS, ANTROBUS TAFT (b. 1890).
Morrison's Academy, Crieff. Student of Arts and Music, 1906-12 ; Mus. Bac. 1912 ;
London Scottish, Private Sept. 1914. France from 1914. 4th Bedford Regiment,
attached ist Lincolns, 2nd Lieut. Feb. 1915. Killed at Armentieres on 19th
March 1916. PL xxxill.

This will mean he is listed on the University War Memorial (which is impossible to photograph) and probably on the Morrison's Academy War Memorial too.

I'm so thrilled to find this. Antrobus Harris was my great uncle and the Honour Roll in Crieff and St James was painted my by Great Aunt Mary, of whom I was very fond. I tried to find St Columba's on a brief visit , a few years ago, but didn't find the "new" church. So I am especially pleased to find all this information here.
