On CWGC the following men: (Their names have been transcribed from War Returns)

Lance Corporal George McDonald, S/7765, 8th Bn. Black Watch, killed in action 25th September 1915 aged 27. He was from Scone and is listed on Scone Civic Memorial.

And

Airman 2nd Class, James Simpson, 6261, No 1 Squadron?, Royal Flying Corps, died of wounds (in France), 13th July 1916 aged 18.

this one seemed to be using his second name

I recognise the name:
Mark (dhubthaigh) highlighted that this man was missing from the CWGC database a couple of years ago.
He's the man to ask.

I am not sure why the name of George McDonald keeps resurfacing. Anne queried him on 25th September.

His case is currently with MOD/CWGC as detailed here

George McDonald keeps re-surfacing because we keep finding references to him all over the place - except on CWGC of course!
