Just had another look at the wording below the Memorial to the HFTC of WW2 and it reads

"Originally Unveiled at Pool House Hotel . Relocated in Memory of LORD ROWALLAN , Commandant H.F.T.C. - 1943- 44

29 May 1982. "

There is a page on Am Baile about a HFTC memorial unveiling. probably this one in its original location. It shows the last page of the order of service which listed those who passed through the centre and died including a death in Malaya in 1950

http://www.ambaile.org.uk/en/item/item_page.jsp?item_id=17295

Order of Service for the Unveiling and Dedication of the War Memorial at Glenfeshie, 16th May 1953. The Memorial was unveiled on Saturday 16 May 1953 by Lord Rowallan of the Highland Fieldcraft Training Centre Association. The Fieldcraft Training Centre offered a 10-week course from 1943 to the end of the war for potential officer recruits

The last page of the Order of Service has a copy of the Roll of Honour of all the men of the Highland Fieldcraft Training Centre Association who died on active service during the Second World War.

There is also a war memorial to the Highland Fieldcraft Training Centre in the Scottish Episcopal church at Poolewe.
