Just spent a wile looking around this site and I had forgotten just how good it was so I thought I would bump it back to the top.

I suggest you check out the roll of honour, many link through to newspaper articles or photos.

I wasn't too sure where to post this , but as this post is about Newbattle at War it seemed the logical place, however feel free to move it as you see fit.

I have posted around 500 photos of Royal Scots from the Edinburgh Evening News in my photo gallery this week. They date mainly 1915 and 1916 and cover virtually every battalion in the regiment.

The 4th, 5th and 9th are in the greatest numbers with a liberal sprinkling from the 7th, 8th and service battalions. They are sorted by battalion but I have not titled each individual photo as yet. Shocked as my heid is burling.

However each photo has detail of the mans name, regiment and in most cases an address on the bottom.

Hope this is of assistance.

PS there is about another 100+ to follow from teh clipping collection.

John
