Here is a war savings plaque that I photographed in Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum. Somewhere I have photos of a couple of others that I photographed in Biggar Museum if anyone wants to see them?

There's another one of these in the store room of the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum.

I'm sure I've seen another two somewhere but I don't recall where I saw them.

I am sure Midlothian Council has a Salute the Soldiers plaque, but where I can't remember!

The following news story makes reference plaques a guy saved from destruction in the 70's called: Salute the Soldier Week, Winter Victory Week and Warship Week.

Low Parks Museum has one on display in their temporary exhibition on the town of Hamilton.
